Jack Scarlett is a nationally recognized tap dancer, educator, and choreographer based in the Tampa Bay area, known for his musicality, innovation, and commanding stage presence. He travels throughout the United States teaching at dance conventions, adjudicating competitions, and leading master classes that inspire dancers to refine their technique, develop their artistic voice, and build confidence.
A sought-after performer, Jack appears with ESP for corporate and community events and is featured with Broadway On The Bay and Spinning Canvas. He is a founding member of Mosaic Movement Co. and an active member of Project Rhythm, contributing to productions that celebrate rhythm and movement. He was also commissioned by Dance Tampa Bay to create and film an original work commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
His performance credits include DrumatiX, FutureSTEP, JYP, NJTap2, serving as Dance Captain for LEGOLAND New York, and performing alongside Usher in Berklee College of Music’s Honorary Doctorate Concert, a performance featured in People magazine.
As a choreographer, Jack has created original works for live performance, film, and concert productions, including collaborations with Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory. His work includes creating a tap dance arrangement of Oscar Peterson’s “On A Clear Day” for Tapped In at the Berklee Performance Center, as well as choreography for Night and Day: A Celebration of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga and Rhythm Unbound.
He continues to choreograph award-winning work for studios, companies, and live productions while sharing his passion for tap dance with the next generation of artists.
